Tim Date: Fri, 3 Feb 2012 11:08:23 +1100 Subject: 2012 Biennial Shoalhaven Photography Competition From: spcbiennialcompetition at gmail.com The Shoalhaven Photographic Club with the backing of the Shoalhaven Arts Board invites entries in the 2012 Biennial Shoalhaven Photography Competition and Exhibition. The competition is open to all photographers from Australia and New Zealand. This is an open subject competition that allows photographers freedom to demonstrate their personal creativity in subject matter and presentation. There are three major prizes: first place - $1000, second place - $500 and third place - $250. This is a print only competition. Entries may be Colour, Monochrome or Creative. Entries close on 28th April 2012. An exhibition at the Shoalhaven City Arts Centre will be open from 1st to 27th June 2012. The exhibition will showcase the prize-winners as selected by the judges and a selection from the entries received. The competition and exhibition aims to show the diverse ways in which photographers view and capture their environment, and the wonderful images that result from this. Please bring along any photo DVDS you may have produced for a showing. Please bring along some of your best prints (2) for selection for our club's entry in the VAPS Interclub. This Interclub involves all clubs associated with the Victorian Association of Photographic Societies The entries will be on display at the VAPS Convention to be held in Ballarat over the weekend of 19 - 21 May. Due to the distance Matt will not be able to regularly attend our meetings.
